As a casual gaming tablet, the ZenPad 7.0 is also quite serviceable.
The Zenpad 7 that we have, has a very unique back cover. The leather camouflage of the aurora metallic back of the Zenpad 7 cover kinda gives it alady’s purse-look. You know, those high-end luxurious purse that sophisticated ladies usually carry around them, like in the movies. Its areally cool design, however, the texture seemed to be give it all away. The plastic-like texture felt on the seemingly leather back cover wasn’texactly an appealing feeling to feel. Asus zenpad 7 review.
At the back, you’ll find the rear camera, ASUS logo, and the ASUS ZenPad and Intel Inside branding.

I saved the best for the last. What makes this device unique? The first thing people notice in a tablet is it’s display. The display on the tablet isunbelievably good. It looks better than the Retina display on iPad Mini which costs about three times. The TRU2LIFE technology accelerates theHardware and Software to enhance colour, contrast, sharpness, clarity and brightness. Telling that the display is good is an understatement. You haveto experience it and you’ll realise how good the display is. I dumped my Nexus 6 which has double the pixel density during my review period for mediaconsumption. This is a pure media consumption device! Videos pop out and the text looks amazing while reading or just browsing the web.

Daylight shots are decent, but the images are too bright and it has white balance issues. Thanks to the f/2.0 aperture, macro shots came out prettygood. HDR shots were good, but you need to hold the tablet steady, otherwise the shots end up blurry. The Low light mode uses differentimage-processing techniques to reduce noise and boosts color contrast, but it reduces the image size to 1-megapixel. Overall, the Zenpad 7.0 offersa decent camera performance for the price, but it could have been better.
